From May 16th to 19th, the industry’s brightest B2B marketing and sales professionals gathered in Las Vegas for #SDSummit. One of the biggest topics of conversation at the conference was account-based marketing (ABM).

1. New SiriusDecisions Demand Waterfall

SiriusDecisions “rearchitected” its Demand Waterfall (available to download here).


The reasoning behind the restructuring of this infographic is tightly aligned with account-based marketing. It’s been updated because of:

  • The rise of inbound marketing and the role of marketing automation
  • The importance of telequalification and prospecting
  • Recognition that sales generates leads, too

2. Account-Based Marketing Superheroes

Terminus announced our Top 45 ABM Superheroes for 2017!


3. VersionOne Case Study

Two of our ABM Superheroes, Jodi Lebow and Peter Herbert from VersionOne, presented how they execute ABM at scale with their marketing and sales teams. We’ve worked with VersionOne on their account-based marketing program since 2015, and it’s been incredible to see their strategy and tech stack evolve into what it is today.


4. ABM Program of the Year Winner = VersionOne

Not only did VersionOne present at the conference, they were also named SiriusDecisions ABM Program of the Year for their account-based marketing efforts, campaigns, and activities. And after seeing their case study, it’s clear why!


5. KickFire + Terminus Presentation

We recently announced our partnership with KickFire for Visitor ID tracking in account-based advertising campaigns. At SiriusDecisions, we collaborated on a session explaining the importance of good data and the part it plays in ABM.


6. Medtronic’s Case Study for Oracle

Our ABM Superhero and marketing marvel, Lynsay Russell, gave an awesome presentation on how Medtronic is seeing success with account-based marketing.


7. Sock It To Me!

Account-based marketing requires personalization, which means it’s essential to produce creative swag. The hot item this year was socks from B2B marketing technology vendors.


8. Reading Material

SiriusDecisions Summit attendees could pick up copies of Account-Based Marketing For Dummies by our CMO and Co-Founder, Sangram Vajre. Additionally, Brainshark gave out its book Sales Enablement For Dummies.


9. Rhett Price

If you attended SiriusDecisions in 2016 or #FlipMyFunnel’s 1st birthday party, then you may have seen musician Rhett Price in action before. @RhettyPants rocked the #SDSummit, as always.


10. Announcing Terminus’ Series B
