Chartis Interactive is looking for an SEO Consultant to support the execution of SEO projects across key clients. Candidates need to have hands-on experience of improving client rankings and visibility in the search engines and collaborate with SME’s in paid search, content, and analytics.

As an SEO Consultant, this role will be responsible for supporting SEO strategy with hands-on activities such as keyword research and analysis, content gap analysis, technical site audits, link building research, creating page-level recommendations and briefs for implementation, and managing reporting. Candidates should possess a very strong understanding of the search engine marketing industry across keywords and content, technology and off-page assessments. Candidates should enjoy problem-solving while developing their SEO and consulting skillsets.

Responsibilities include:

  • Understand clients’ SEO and marketing objectives to support SEO strategy execution lead by SEO Lead
  • Conduct keyword research and organize queries into distinguished segments based on intent, themes and other actionable insights using first and third party data sources
  • Analyze search landscape to evaluate intent, competitors, and successful tactics for visibility
  • Map keyword segments to landing pages; audit client website for visibility against target keyword segments and determine which content should be optimized and where content needs to be created to address search needs
  • Provide detailed page-level recommendations for content optimization and creation
  • Collaborate with client or agency copywriters to provide search insights
  • Audit client sites for technical issues impeding search visibility and provide recommended improvements to remedy issues
  • Review paid search campaign and keyword performance as an input to SEO analysis and insight creation; work with paid search team for integrated search approach
  • Audit sites’ backlink profiles to assess off-page performance
  • Update reports and dashboards for SEO performance primarily in Google Data Studio and Excel using data from Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console and rank tracking tools


  • Proven SEO experience, 2-4 years
  • Subject matter expert understanding of technical and content elements that impact organic search performance rankings
  • Proficient in identifying issues and areas of improvement with SEO performance
  • Experience with website analytics tools (e.g, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics etc.)
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in SEO and SEM

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
