Conversational Marketing PDF

What can you expect to learn from a conversational marketing pdf? Before we answer that, what even is conversational marketing? Conversational marketing is a customer engagement approach that helps to create and strengthen relationships for key aspects of your business. We recommend that you check out these two conversational marketing PDFs:

  1. This resource describes how chat fits perfectly into an ABM strategy. ABM Chat has been supported by data in generating a 265% increase in outbound email response rate. When we talk about a full revenue funnel, chat can play a big role there. This specifically includes things like real-time conversations with prospects and customers, next level measurement and attribution, full-funnel account-based marketing, and maximising your investment in ABM and demand generation.
  2. This resource outlines Terminus Chat Experiences, one of the most popular products that Terminus offers. Results like an 80% increased close rate of all chat-sources leads and a 51% faster lead response time are highlighted as well. We also can’t forget about the five plus integrations with companies such as Salesforce, SalesLoft, Marketo, Calendly, and Google Analytics.

Within any conversational marketing PDF, you can expect to be exposed to the following two questions:

  1. What are chatbots?
  2. What are chatbots used for?

After doing a quick Google search on “what is a chatbot”, the first result that pops up is from Oracle stating, “A chatbot is a computer program that simulates and processes human conversation (either written or spoken), allowing humans to interact with digital devices as if they were communicating with a real person. Chatbots can be as simple as rudimentary programs that answer a simple query with a single-line response, or as sophisticated as digital assistants that learn and evolve to deliver increasing levels of personalization as they gather and process information.”

When researching “what is a chatbot used for”, we found that Tidio shared some great information surrounding the purpose of chatbots. Chatbots are a great improver of business efficiency. Some of the biggest benefits include immediate replies, where in a world of instant gratification and the Internet, automated bot responses can really make a difference in how an interaction with a potential customer progresses. Their availability is also 24/7, which would not be possible with one human managing incoming queries. Chatbots can also be integrated with all kinds of applications and technologies and balance multiple channels of communication with the same degree of quality customer service. Lastly, we cannot forget that the role of a chatbot is not to replace a human or completely automate a job, but to facilitate interactions between humans and computers. This means connecting potential customers to humans later down the road, alerting an employee of an interaction that is urgent, or providing flexibility to both groups and sides in any interaction.

Now that we have introduced and discussed the concept of a chatbot, we will now provide chatbots examples, use cases, playbooks, best practices, and more in the content to follow below.

What Is Chatbot And How It Works

With chatbots, there are a variety of different devices people can use for them. This is because of how diverse and technologically advanced chatbots have become. Today, some chatbots are used for entertainment and some chatbots are used for business.

In terms of entertainment, one company that utilizes chatbots is Twitch. Twitch is a popular video live streaming service. Streaming content ranges from a DITL (Day in the Life) to various hobbies such as gaming, cooking, editing, and pretty much anything else you can think of. So you may be wondering, what is a chatbot twitch? With any streamer on Twitch, the connection to their audience is facilitated by the chat function. As their audience base grows, having a chatbot helps to remove spam, improve engagement, and maintain user-to-user connection.

According to Stream Scheme, the best Twitch bots for streaming have diverse functions, flexible usability, and can be free or purchased. For example, Moobot is described as an easy platform that moderates, operates polls, and manages music selection. Wizebot is described as an intermediate platform, and also moderates, runs game integration, and compiles sub lists. For an advanced platform example, PhantomBot is able to moderate, facilitate game features, and track permission levels.

Most of the time, chatbots for entertainment will be used on mobile devices. Knowing this may lead to the questions of:

  1. What is a chatbot on my phone?
  2. What is a chatbot on android?
  3. What is a chatbot on samsung?

In order to better understand these types of chatbots, we looked up, “what are chatbots android”. We found a few android chatbots that are gaining traction. Apps that have all sorts of chatbots for purposes like romance, therapy, or just pure fun. Make Use Of introduced us to Wysa, which is a wellness chatbot. Wysa is a supplement to a therapist in some ways, and presents various coping habits and solutions for having conversations around topics like depression and anxiety. Anima is another chatbot app that acts like a friend and confidante. There is also an opportunity to personalize this chatbot to cater to your interests and specific conversations. Beyond a content standpoint, Anima also allows you to change the chatbot’s appearance. This adds another layer of customization and realism.

When researching “what are chatbots on samsung”, we were able to find that Samsung created “Bixby” to serve as an AI virtual assistant for Galaxy S8 and S8+ phones. This is comparable to Apple’s Siri or Amazon’s Alexa. Samsung is also in the beta phase of building chatbots in the Samsung RCS MaaP. This would give users the ability to tap chatbots to simulate human conversations and allow businesses to interact with their customers without needing to hire extra employees. All of this would essentially streamline messaging and be able to work in 1-to-1 chats, group chats, and with file exchanges.

As mentioned earlier, there are chatbots used for entertainment, and other chatbots used for business. Chatbots for business are primarily used for a company’s website. We will now dive into sharing a list of chatbots and solutions available to you within a business lens.

List Of Chatbots

The benefits of chatbots used for business are quite extensive. Companies such as Terminus, Drift, Intercom, and many others all have chatbot offerings available. When we think about a chatbot project, online chatbot, or ai chatbot, the common theme is that they can all accomplish what we need them to do, engage customers and drive revenue.

Although there are multiple companies with competitive chatbot offerings, we believe that Terminus has the most unique and valuable offering. Terminus allows users to pair chat with various other channels, such as ads.

More specifically, Terminus provides everything in ONE platform for account-based execution. That is why our product is referenced as native chat. Native chat perfectly aligns with an ads + chat + email strategy. But don’t just take our word for it, we have the data to back up these claims. Here is what we found working with customers using our chat offering:

  • “A 1,600 percent increase in sales conversations just two weeks post-implementation
  • A 3x increase in lead volume, and 51 percent faster lead response time
  • A 42% increased Sales Accepted Lead (SAL) to close rate
  • More than 80 percent increase in close rate of all Chat-sourced leads”

And if all of that didn’t convince you…

“One Terminus customer experienced increased target account engagement by 686% (yes, you read that right) when pairing Advertising Experiences with Account-based Chat. This customer also saw an increase in conversions by 1600% (seriously, we can’t make this up) by executing targeted, personalized and contextual experiences across connected channels (Chat + Ads).”

That is the power of a Terminus chatbot. And while we could go on and on about Terminus chatbots, we will be fair and provide other information on one of our product competitors, Drift.

Drift

What’s the first thing that you think of when you think of the word, “drift”?

Is it a drift car?

Drift cars are specific cars that have a range of power capabilities. Some automobile brand examples include Subaru WRX, Toyota Avensis, and Dodge Charger. All of these types of cars are utilized in drifting competitions.

What about drift games?

From our research, there are two types of drift games. The first being actual online games surrounding the theme of drift driving. Drift Torque is a game using car tires to drift on the road, and allows you to get points for doing so. Crazy Drift has multiple levels and lets you practice drifting on various surfaces while also gaining points along the way. Burnout Drift Online incorporates muscle cars and provides the opportunity to compete against other players around the world. This is consistently referred to as a “drift battle”.

The second result that popped up is the YouTube channel called, “Drift Games”. This channel has over 125K subscribers and talks about all things cars. From hot takes, to pricing comparisons, to car transformations, there is a wealth of and variety of knowledge on this channel.

Or maybe drift fortnite?

Drift is referred to as a Legendary Outfit in Fortnite: Battle Royale. You can get access to this in Season 5 Battle Pass from Tier 1. Drift is depicted as a “kitsune” which looks like a fox-like animal. Drift is described by multiple sites as having a mysterious past paired with the power of “lightning”.

Perhaps a drift movie?

In 2013, the movie “Drift” was released. With an R rating and the movie falling under the Drama/Sport category, the plot is about two brothers that get tangled up with a group of townspeople and bikers. This happens after they start running a business creating surfing equipment and clothing. The two brothers are played by actors Myles Pollard and Xavier Samuel.

What about drift scent?

Drift is also a well known fragrance company. The company started out as a provider of alternatives to air care products at the time. The products they now have are highlighted as being chemical free, phthalate free, and paraben free. According to their about page, “we love our community, those who won’t settle for ordinary, and we want to deliver a best in class experience.”

Now that you are aware of a drift synonym or two across various industries and products, we would like to hone in on the Drift most relevant to conversational marketing. As mentioned in the above section, Drift is one company that offers business chatbots. They promote their Revenue Acceleration Platform which contains chat as well as video, voice, and email on their website. When examining the history of the company, we found that Drift was created in 2015, and has 445 team members, and 50k+ customers.

In terms of Drift technology, Drift provides a variety of sales and marketing solutions. One feature includes visitor intelligence, which helps to identify any and all website visitors with data. Another feature is target account engagement, where specific accounts are connected to sales reps that are available in real-time. Real-time personalization also relates to website experiences for potential customers. There are also custom chatbots and AI chatbots, both of which each serve a different purpose. In addition to these, there seem to be analytics and insights and team services from Drift’s team. For mobile use, there is a drift app. This app focuses on live and recorded chat and video for all members of sales and marketing teams. It is free in the Apple App Store and available only for iPhones as of right now. This feature also adds a stream of notifications that are launched when customers engage with your brand, and Drift is able to track them.

In terms of drift careers and joining their team, they emphasize their impact on sales and marketing. They seem to be customer focused and describe themselves as a “Digital First company”. Having a remote experience for employees is prioritized and the offices that are available in places like Boston and San Francisco are referred to as “Conversation Spaces”.
